The website has a max upload op 20MB nowadays. We exeeded it by about 80MB hahaha. There is a new "Member Galleries" bit where you can create your own gallery. You can choose your character and start uploading 1 or 2 photo's. Please keep in mind that the photo's should be around 45-75KB (600x400px) web optimized. Then we won't have a problem with the storage. I will be deleting the old member albums once you've made a new one. So download your old photo's to your computer and resize em to the right file size.
We are also looking into some opties to set up a big photo deposid like Photobucket or something. Here we can easily upload all photo's that we can't have on the website.
To sum it up:
- Create a new Member Gallery with your character under Gallery.
- Upload maximum 2 or 3 photo's.
- File size must be under 100kb, 50kb is best (check file size on your computer).
- 600 must be the max for width or height.
If you have trouble resizing the photo's, you can send em to me by email and i'll resize em for you. nrojb[at]hotmail[dot]com.
Sorry for the hassle. Friendly greetings, Sanctaphrax.

From left to right: Ivonne (Lua), Onno (Gil), Wicki (Night), Anja (Wild), Lenoor (Julyana), Bjorn (Sancta), Jason (Richmond).Well once again here is my take on what happened when the guild finally got together in one place!
So after many a night of talking about it, finding out if it was possible and even at the last moment some flights were still not finalised we managed to find our way to Holland.
So with some of us arriving Thursday, well me later than my two huntresses, we were met by our very accommodating host and after running thru customs there we were. Standing outside dutchieland airport and before us stood a massive "hamster wheel" i never realised that there was a power shortage in Holland but well that made me smile, and not for the last time that weekend!
As we were driven from the airport we started chatting and i asked Bjorn many times "Are we there yet?" before we stopped in a service station and had a break, we then noticed there was a few rabbits randomly scattered around, i asked Bjorn if this would be a good time to kill some critters and would it count towards the guild achievement. After having a giggle we drove for what seemed and eternity well 20 minutes and Bjorn decided that now would be a good time to take us on a guided tour of Utrecht, so after stopping at the "stop and strip" yes that's right we are in Holland, he thought that we needed to see the red lights along the canal, yep thats right and we all know what happen with red lights and dutchies mix, yep, our high dps'ing warlock took us to the floating red light district!
When we arrived "home", we unloaded and moved in, set up camp and lit a .... cigarette, waiting with baited breath for Mrs Sancta to arrive home, and then there she was beaten from the day, only to be met by two danes and a brit, if Holland wasn't ready for us, then lenoor bless her was in for a bit of a shock! After making all the intros we sat and drank and chatted, in the background Lenoor was cooking up a storm, she certainly earned the cooking award, I'm telling you guildies, what julyanna can do with potatoes woohoo!
Then we met Karin (Mejera) and "babyface" Joe (Deosil / Eliah), they are good friends and guidies also, when i remember there names i will post it but at this moment it escapes me, so now we had enough people to go raiding, but there was only a pizza place next door, that was too low level so we decided to call it a night, but there was a small matter of blowing up... the beds, once again Bjorn called on the power of the gods, well the power company to make his huffing and puffing machine work, poor Lenoor was already down stairs at this time but apparently the noise downstairs was that of someone drilling and an aircraft taking off at the same time, if memory serves me correct this was around 2am.
I would like to make a note at this time that i do not snore! (Note: Fact check needed!)
So in the morning after investigating the worlds tallest toilet but having a fantastic shower Mr Sancta took us into town and the local markets, this was going to be the start of my demise well it will become clearer later, taking us around Utrecht the place was sooooo relaxed and easy going, maybe it was the herb, who knows? But we really enjoyed the trip about town, people talking funny was only one amusement, then your GM decided to have a brainwave and asked Bjorn if he could partake in the local delicacy, thats right our host went into a coffee shop and for 3.5 euro produced a pre-rolled-packaged-in-a-tube-smokable-joint that was going to prove a big comedy factor in time to come.
After going around town we stepped into a restaurant and sampled "crockettes" ( i know thats not how its spelt but ......hmm yummy) (Kroketten in Dutch) and had a chat, this was something i could get used too, we decided to make our way back home, it was a fantastic day and it was great to feel at total ease and just able to enjoy walking around and take in the views it was a great great day.
After leaving the market side of things we strolled home and waited for Julyanna to make it, we scrubbed up and i decided it was time to hit the doobie, in hindsight i shouldn't have but oh well, so there it was i lit it had 2 hits and to use a gaming term, really felt like i was going to DC, and 2 hours later my cheeks were still tingling, it had been 20 odd years and i guess it will be 20 more before it happens again lol.
So we hit the road, with Anja and Wicki in the back shouting "Are we there yet?" and Bjorn teaching me my phrases it was going to be a long journey but without Julyanna getting mad at us, we made it, and after finding a place too park, we found a blond girl standing in the doorway looking for 5 strangers guess she was looking for us, and like a raiding party we had almost got enough to make it work.
We had finally met Lua (Ivonne) and Gil (Onno) and after making all the intros and being forced to drink more beer (i use the term forced very loosely ) we were having a laugh and a giggle i figured it was time to use my brilliant grasp of the dutch language so first i had Lua, much too the delight of Lenoor who was apparently in hysterics the whole time, and the reply from Lua was "maybe" and then i had to try Gil. who wasnt really convinced that he was the best person to ask, whatever Bjorn had taught me!
Phrases: to Lua "Ik wil je beffen." to Gil "Ik wil je in m'n kont."
So then it was decided that we would hit the bar, now bearing in mind that this was carnival weekend i for one wasnt sure what to expect but was we walked the longest 1/2 kilometer in history i met an Air Hostess and 2 Bananas you could tell that this was going to be a fun night. We got to the bar and proceeded to carry on drinking and listening to Gils favourite type of music "carnival drinking music" Nelly the elephant and such was the order of the day, you could tell that Gil and Bjorn love this type of thing, they were singing and not complaining one little bit... or was the the other way round? (Note from Bjorn: I can't stand that crap lol)
Then we met a blast from the past, Lyca appeared and proceeded to drink more talking about the game seemed to take prominence over everything but heck it was a guild meeting after all lol, drinking and having a blast we had our tank, healers, melee and range dps, we could have tackled the world or at least raiding a late night curry house for some food!
After taking what seemed an eternity to get home we settled down for the night some people had pillows and blankets, sorry Gil not having a dig i blame Lyca lol.
In the morning we had a lavish spread laid on by our hosts and so long as Anja got coffee we were good to go, It was a step into the unknown but the closer we got too town the more and more outrageous costumes were on show, it was hard not to feel a little excited following our hosts we were taken back in another bar given a beer and then out of no where were decorated with hats and flower thingies given more beer, it seemed that other people in the bar had been drinking longer than us and it was only 10am! but the atmosphere was brilliant, it was amazing to see a whole town get involved and take part in dressing up, no matter how silly the outfit was, we left the bar and somehow found ourselves in a Coffee shop of all places, all i had to do was step in there and take a deep lung full of that herb smoke and well you could tell i wasnt use too it thats for sure.
Watching the carnival and listening to Russians falling down the stairs was a great way to spend the day, and being surrounded by friends was the icing on the cake, we then decided to go back downstairs and try and cross the street......

So we have a new game on our hands, new players in our guild and better gear to stop us getting beaten into next year, whats left ? oh well it must be raiding time
Although many guilds had surged ahead and were blasting the raids without success, we had spent our times in heroic's grabbing the gear, learning the better ways to play new found talents, reforging and gemming, and getting to grips with awesome dps it was decided that Phoenix Knights would finally take the plunge ourselves and what a night it proved to be.
We decided that Baradins Hold "the VoA" of Cataclsym would be our best start so on a night unlike many others we waited with baited breath to see if the Alliance could keep hold of Tol Barad just for us, thankfully they could, so after getting the raid together we realised that we may have 2 or 3 attempts at this without running out of time and the Horde coming to spoil the party.
There it was, entry in to cellar, Phoenix Knights on the verge of possibly another notch in the raiding calendar, as we descended ,people on vent not sure of whats around the next corner, we all jump through the portal ( Editors Note : Never really sure why people do this but it seems to work ) and there we were, a very gloomy and fog filled place, ok buffed up and away we go , of course trash first, everyone beginning to realise that these guys mean business but stand we did beating them back, and turning another corner.
Now at this point i have to say that i play on an old computer and whilst some people were commenting on the boss all i could see was grey mist , and must admit that i have never seen this boss even close up!
So Buffed we did, tactics discussed , feasts in place and potions chugged, "Im going in" came the call from Lua, split into 2 groups we made our run, trading heals and dispelling frantically the healers held up there end of the bargain, all the dps going hell for leather, ripping, gouging, cursing and stabbing, dots ticking and totems working over time, running out on the storm , pls dont die , pls dont die, his health slowly becoming lower and lower, one eye on heal bot, one eye on his health and with a wing and a prayer looking up and seeing 1 minute left, crap lost a lock, keep going, popping all cooldown's 30 seconds, this is going to be tight, closer than anything before, hell even the healers throwing up dots ! then the cheers came up, 2 seconds to spare before the enrage timer,he was down dead another guild first and very very well deserved , everyone spamming the best they could , now things can only get better for Phoenix Nights.
In the same week PK cleared all the Heroics and became a Level 10 guild !
Great job everyone thank you for all your hard work and dedication in making Phoenix Knights a great place to play and be a part of !

On a usually quiet tuesday night it was posted on the calendar that we would try Ruby Santum once more , in a previous attempt we had cleared the trash and the 3 mini bosses , after a flurry of hits, heals and heroism we decided that as it was getting late we would try again another day, so on ventrilo we decided that Tuesday would be a good night to try .....
So running alittle late we arrived in RS , buffed and ready to rock n roll , we knew the tactics , we knew we would be close , hell we were close last time 5% but what happened next i think took afew people by suprise , after a brief explaination to our tanks , where to stand , kite and taunt we ran into action , well hmm as i seem to recall , one person was alittle more ready than others , but hey who can blame Luapele for wanting to go .....
So the next attempt we went together , got the placement right , heals and hits , running away and decursing, nicely controlled and phase 1 running well , portal open , 9 people inside, Bizkituk picking up the slack placing him just right ( in the past attempt Bizkit had a fondness for seeing how close he could get to the orbs and trying to deny it via our ventilo server , but we are a fun guild we would condem him for it ... just yet ) and there it was ,place perfect , turn and move , watching the orbs , running away and dropping the damage on the floor , Heroism came the call , just at the right time , In flurry of spamming buttons and flinger clicking madness it happened
Phase 3 , i think afew of us knew it was coming , "make or break time" with the group split the time had come, now or never , controlling majestically the dps and healing on both sides was key , a task that if not done right can cause the words "wipe it guys" to be spoken , but my fellow friends , not this time , controlled and excecuted to perfection ,
Then the worst of all things that could happen , happened , "what" i hear you ask , well I GOT LAG, damm it yes we have all been there ,and for a healer that is by no means a pleasent thing, so with my computer managing a massive 1fps not sure what was going on, i heard vent retaining its usual frolics and banter , the hampsters returned to there running routine and kick started the graphics card and i managed to rejoin the action, then low and behold " Ruby Santum 10 man" much to everybodys suprise there it was ,....
Another first for PK and in some style too , we all played the part and played well , and really in all honesty? i have to say that it was infact quiet easy , yep there i said it , easy , smooth and in a twisted way fun so after attempting to take a photo , there was more raiding to follow ....
So sharing the spoils and turning in the quest we decided that we had plenty of time to kill and Falgorn suggested that ICC could be a good finish for the night , we knew that he really wanted to see his addon work , so we packed up and desended on Icecrown, after a quick recap and making our way up too the Blood Queen we went over tactics again , Falgorn explained about his addons and in we went , there were people being linked up via a red beam , running together dispelling that , then it started .the bites, a quick nibble if you like "Boris where are you ? i need to bite you" which i have to say is one of the strangest things ive heard on ventrilo, but it worked , Fals addon working a treat, everyone playing there part and before you knew it BAMM sit down you blood sucking , gothic cloth wearing b!&^&, you got owned but the Phoenix Knights
Then Professior and Dreamwalker went the same way with little effort and alot of good banter and laughter , we achived again 10 of 12 in ICC so extened it is , so come forth Sindy and LIchy your 9pm appointment with Dr PK and his band of marauding misfits is nigh, it is time to end this, time to put PK on the map....
So in summary we downed RS, Professor,Dreamwalker and Bloodqueen in the same night, what a great time to be a PK !!
The Team :- Raid Leader :- Falgorn / Drukula -- Tanks :- Luapele, Bizkituk . Main Raid:- Greenshield, Bigins ,Mightyjazz, Gilapriest And ofcourse not forgetting the most important players ,Healing :- Alitha and yours truly Richmond -
What can I say..? Another cracking night for the Knights... We picked up where we left off on Tuesday and headed straight for Putricide. We knew this would be a tough one, the ooze management side of the fight has put off us thus far, but it was time to face our nemesis...
We discussed tactics, and kicked things off... and pretty much wiped straight away. Stupid oozes... :) We reitterated the tactics and tried again... this time with a bit more success taking him down to about 75%. We changed our tanking positions slightly (thanks Lua) and immediately found things more easy. We blasted into phase two surprisingly quickly, and dodged the choking bombs and maleable goo with surprising ease... Phase 2 passed us in a blur, but luck wasn't quite on our side as we entered phase three, as a new ooze had just spawned. We lost the snare ability and the ooze took a healthy chunk of health from the raid. When the ooze was down we turned our attention to the boss but couldn't quite get him under control. Annoyingly we wiped with about 15% to go.... but we knew we could do it...
We tried again and this time the fight was almost enjoyable, everything worked like clockwork, and we found ourselves in phase three with only one dps down (annoyingly a shaman, so no heroism either!) Tanks gradually moved him around the room, whilst the dps opened up with their cooldowns. Healers threw shields and hots around the raid, desperate to keep everyone alive, and we all held our breath as Putricides health slowly fell...
...and just as we ran out of floor space (admitedly with 50% of the raid down!) he staggered to the floor. Once again vent was lit up with congratulations, and we all marvelled at our new acheivement. Success has never smelt so good.....
So, full of confidence we made our way to Sindragosa. Again knowing this would be a difficult fight, we kept our expectations firmly under control. We were prepared for a lot of wipes here, and expectations were met... this one seemed a little out of our grasp.... To be fair though we were consistantly getting her down to 25%, but phase 3 didn't quite have the control that we'd have liked... So we wait.... Until the next time!!!!!
Gratz all - another cracking nights raid
Raid Group included: Lua, Shadow, Wild, Nightsearch, Alitha, Shammy, Smick, Gil, Biz and myself (Olania)

So… Another good week for the Phoenix Knights. We started the week with a good ICC10 run on Saturday, which saw us easily put down 7 bosses. To be honest it was very very easy – a couple of wipes, some explanation of tactics for the new-comers, and before we new it we were faced with the Blood Queen herself. We talked through the tactics, and gave her a couple of shots – but to no avail… We dropped her to 50% health easily enough but the Vampire Bites were causing a little confusion. So, pleased with our 7 boss progress, we decided to knock it on the head for the knight (I did that on purpose – PK you see… lol - I should write for The Sun.)
We regrouped on a quiet Tuesday – keen to pick up where we left off. We cleared the trash easily enough and once again looked the Blood Queen squarely in the eye. We buffed, re-explained the tactics, and kicked things off. The first few attempts were a marked improvement on Saturday’s effort, leaving her with 25%, but we still didn’t quite get it… Then on the 4th attempt, everything came together like a well oiled PK fighting machine. The tanks played their hand perfectly, the DPS couldn’t have worked any harder, and the healers fired of heals left, right and centre. But most importantly everyone did exactly as they needed to tactic wise, the curses, the smoke, the vampire bites, the fear, all worked perfectly and dispite my efforts to single shot the raid towards the end (I’d like to point out I was mind controlled…) The Blood Queen crumbled to the floor with 3 seconds left on the enrage timer… and my god did it feel good. The achievement meter rattled off its congratulations, whilst cries of joy echoed through Vent.
A great evenings work… But were we happy with that…. Oh no…Read on fellow PK admirers…
So... full of confidence from the Blood Queen, we turned our attention to Valrithia.... We rebuffed, changed tactics slightly (putting ranged on the suppressors if anyone is interested) and kicked things off.
The tanks pulled their adds to the marks and the DPS switched from target to target watching their victims fall. The suppressors were well controlled by the ranged and the Skeltrons barely had time to cast a single Lay of Waste. Meanwhile the healers quietly portalled in and out for their buffs, throwing ever increasing heals onto the Dreamwalker. Gradually Valrithia’s health began to rise, and quite suddenly we only had a few thousand to go… A bit of concentration for the last few minutes, and would you believe it… a one shotter!! Our work here was well and truly done….
Another great evening raiding, proving that PK are well on their way to the Lich King. Everyone played their parts exceptionally well, and best of all we proved that we can tackle the bosses that are a bit more tactically challenging. We’ve definitely got the DPS to go all the way and have extended the raid to take on the last 3 – SO WATCH THIS SPACE! :)
Raid members were: Lua, Shadow, Alitha, Fal, Gil, Smick, Night, Shammy, Biz, and myself (Bigins)

We've done it! Now i can't write as good a story as Jason and it is 2 o'clock in the morning over here now, so here is the quick screenshot i made ;)

Tnx Valerius and all our members who made this happen! It was a good night! -
After many a conference and talking between two guilds a new alliance was set up and started , we have alined ourselves with Valerius , a long established guild with deep roots set in wow and an extensive raid history of being at the forefront in raiding circles.
So it was decided that a Sunday was going to be a trip into the unknown for Phoenix Knights , a mixture of nervous laughter and anticipation filled the air as we set up on vent , got all the pots , potions and food we could find and headed over to meet our new "friends" at Valerius , and after some brief introductions we were set , everyone suggled up in the ventrilo train carriage looking forward to the explots that was going to happen!
Anyways we set off , taking trash down like a knife through butter hacking and slashing and before you knew it , there he was , Lord Bonemarrow, Now as anyone knows , dont get the spikes = raid wipe , but in this instance , nothing was going to phase our 2 guilds , boned or spiked , melee being very attentive and working the magic , healers throwing up heals covering everyone , avoiding the bone storm and running back , tanks playing a big part in keeping him away from the walls , and then , as if by magic , no sooner started , than ... BAMM first boss down , actually alot easier than 10 man but i think afew sigh's of relive as it was clean , no deaths and everyone still friends . loot shared out and ready to crack on!
This time the Lady was going to be a tramp she caught us out first time , but in the spirit of raiding , we dusted ourselves off , buffed up , and went over the tacts again , i must say that i dont think ive ever seen a mage poly people with such glee as what was happening in the fight , but neverless the fight was rolling , burning down the adds, kicking ass , mana shield down! kiting boss to the middle , and trying really hard to avoid those damm ghosts and well hero popped and everyone offloading everything they had onto the Lady 5%...3%......1% and there she was dead, downed and owned by a newly formed alliance!
Now i know this maybe alittle long winded and you maybe bored by now but you come this far so hang in there, clearing the trash here we are , Gunship , in all honesty one of the easiest boss fights ever , 4 cannons locked and loaded and a whole bunch of random dps going on , hunters flying to the ship ! people bouncing around and before you can say "Heal me im almost dead" there we were /wave at the horde ship sinking into the night, another boss down.
So here we are , Sarafang , the bain of many an ICC run , well could we do it ? your damm right we could, and a cracking result alround , everyone played there part as best they could , this was after 5 or 6 wipes but you know what , we learnt , and learnt quickly , our new family was working wonders and in the final attempt of the night , sonmething wonderful happened , we got thru him , took him down , kicked his orc ass . Just to note that if it wasnt for the fact that the mark of the fallen always seemed to fall on a healer we wouldnt have had this problem im sure , but you can only play the hand your dealt and play away we did , with some cracking dps on sarafang we got him down , I think everyone wanted this boss out of the way just to prove that with the right planning everything works out in the end , but when we burned him to 5% there was that chance that like the times before he was gaining health , but like a great team we stuck togther and managed to put him down , and triumph over the first 4 bosses of ICC
CONGRATULATIONS ONE AND ALL !!!!!!
I do have a picture to follow but a big thxs must be said to valerius for making this happen and it is hoped that we can progress further and deeper in the 25man content , but wothout your help it would not have been possible so from me the gm of phoenix knights thankyou very much and we will see you next sunday ......
A big thankyou to the Valerius raiding team , But an even bigger thankyou to the raid leader that took a ragtag crew under his wing and led us to the field of victory , hahaha but thxs guys you made it a very enjoyable sunday! -
After realising that we were not going to be able to enter ICC on sunday and unable to enter Ulduar to carry on , it was decided that a venture into the forgotten OS might be a nice way to finsh the weekend , so as we approached Dragonblight a voice on ventrilo stated that maybe we should try for all 3 drakes up , an achivement yet to be won by Phoenix Knights.
So we buffed up , well fed and ready to rumble we started on clearing the trash , no hick-ups , nice and smooth , avoiding the drakes as we go round , so all trash clear we decide on the best tactic .......
Falgorn , oh mighty tank pulled , and kited , we ran past , totems dropped , hunters giving it large , and the melee hacking, slashing, ripping and goring into him , heroism popped , 70% first drake appears , then second drake , ahhh crap healer down , quick , shoot the s^&t out of him 10% ...5% omg we might do this .. woohoo another first Phoenix Knights are now part of the "of the nightfall" group a long time in coming but way to go , another feather in our raiding cap.
GM Note ;- now it wasnt all plain sailing , and it most definatly wasnt a one shot deal , running with one healer , i "may" have been responsable for one or three wipes , thus costing some heavy repair bills but well , whats the fun in one shotting and never learning?
Congrats to everyone
Raid Leader ;- Vardek , Tank - Falgorn , Raid Team ;- Mattius, Wildheart, Snowi, Nightsearch, Xernos, Duckula, Zatha, and well ofcourse the healer Richmond
